Get Painted Gala and Art Auction - April 28, 2023
We have the following job opportunities:
- Event Setup: assist with setting up and decorating for the event; setting up check-in/check-out tables, the bar, raffle tables, auction tables, and any other decorating; assist in setting up the welcome/champagne table.
- Check-in: Help guests check in to the event, finding their name on the check-in sheet; giving them the auction catalog; providing bid number; answering any general event questions
- Bartenders/barbacks: Help man the bar – MUST BE SAFE-SERVER CERTIFIED!
- Silent Auction attendees: Monitor the silent and premier auction tables; collect bid sheets and bring them to check out when auctions close.
- Raffle attendees: Assist in selling bags for the Wine Grab
- Art Handlers for art auction: This position will be ONSTAGE during the Live Auction – volunteers will carefully carry the auction item on the stage for guests to see, then carry the items backstage once bidding is over – the item will be immediately wrapped, and the auction receipt attached for guest pickup.
- Auction runners: Assist in bringing receipt and small balloon/champagne bottle to winning bidder.
- Live Auction Spotters: These volunteers will take one “zone” of the crowd and assist the auctioneer in pointing out bidders. Must be jovial, good-natured, energetic, and not afraid to make some noise!
- Silent Auction art packers: Assist in packing up work in silent & premier art auctions, attaching a receipt, and bringing to guests at checkout.
