When disaster strikes, communities recover best when neighbors help neighbors. We are seeking dedicated volunteers to help lead community disaster response and recovery efforts in our area.

Whether responding to wildfires, floods, severe weather, or other emergencies, these leadership volunteers help bring people together to make a difference.
We are looking for individuals who:
- Care deeply about their community
- Are organized and dependable
- Work well with diverse groups of people
- Can remain calm during challenging situations
- Want to help strengthen local disaster preparedness and recovery efforts
Leadership opportunities may include:
- Volunteer coordination
- Disaster recovery planning
- Community outreach and communications
- Resource management
- Damage assessment support
- Long-Term Recovery Group participation
- Disaster preparedness education
Training and support will be provided. Previous disaster experience is helpful but not required.
By volunteering as a disaster response leader, you can help ensure our community is prepared, resilient, and ready to support our neighbors when they need us most.
