how we do it

By collaborating with a variety of organizations, community members, and all stakeholders, The Lake Helena Watershed Group helps implement stream and wetland restoration projects and hosts a number of volunteer opportunities for anyone to get involved with these projects. We also enjoy hosting fun, educational events such as an annual Watershed Festival.

We reach out to local stakeholders to inform on Best Management Practices, host frequent public meetings and engage community members with decision making regarding future restoration and planning efforts within our watershed.
