Writing Coaches of Montana

Writing Coaches of Montana is a nonprofit that has served Western Montana for 28 years. We are now beginning to coach in Central Montana at Capital High School in fall 2023. Volunteer coaches come from all backgrounds and professions and are trained by education experts.

Writing Coaches of Montana trains community volunteers to work with public school students on assignments that require writing and critical thinking. At the invitation of teachers, coaches work with every student in a classroom, giving individualized feedback.
