Do you enjoy working with small engines and wish to share your skills with youth? Then this is the opportunity for you!

We are looking for a volunteer to assist youth ages 9-19 to learn about small engines and other power equipment, especially equipment used around the home. Learn how gasoline engines operate, acquire skills needed to operate engines and equipment safely and become familiar with safety rules before starting and while operating engines. You will also create a desire for members to develop safe starting procedures and promote safe practices at home.

Volunteers would organize and deliver educational workshops and activities. Curriculum and planned activities available. The 4-H year runs from October-September.

Do you have an eye for design that you feel passionate enough to share with youth? Then this is the opportunity for you. 

Looking for a volunteer to assist 4-H members ages 8-19 in learning how to develop a designer's touch, including basic design and style concepts to walls, windows, floors, and homes as a whole!

Volunteers would organize and deliver educational workshops and activities. Curriculum and planned activities available. The 4-H year runs from October-September.

Do you have knowledge of forestry that you wish you could share with youth? Then this is the opportunity for you!

We are looking for a volunteer to lead the 4-H Forestry project. Through the 4-H forestry project, you will educate youth on how important forests are to our state. You’ll also educate about forest ecology and people’s reliance on forest products. You’ll explore the relationship between trees, people and communities.

Do you have an interest in bugs and the outdoors that you wish to share with youth? Then this is the opportunity for you!

We are looking for a volunteer to lead youth in the 4-H entomology project. In this project, youth will learn about the role that insects play in our environment, learn to ID and collect insects, and to learn more about the insects within our state.

Do you have a passion for cycling that you wish to share with youth? Then this is the opportunity for you!

We are looking for a volunteer to assist 4-H members ages 9-19 in learning more about bicycles! Members will learn and practice good bicycle safety habits, enjoy bicycling for exercise, learn about the parts of the bicycle, and learn how to maintain their bicycle.

Volunteers would organize and deliver educational workshops and activities. Curriculum and planned activities available. Help with as little or as much as you want!  The 4-H year runs from October-September. We are looking for a volunteer to lead this project starting October 2023.

Are you an electrician, or someone who knows how to work with electrical things that would like to teach youth about electricity? Then this is the opportunity for you!

We are looking for a volunteer to assist 4-H members ages 9-19 in learning more about electricity! Members will learn about the uses of electricity, selecting appropriate materials for your electric project, how to build your own flashlight or switch, test conductivity, investigate circuits, test materials for magnetism, build and test a compass, build an electromagnet, build a galvanometer and build an electric motor.

Do you have a special knowledge of aircraft that you wish you could share with youth? Then this is the opportunity for you!

We are looking for a volunteer to assist 4-H members ages 9-19 in learning more about aerospace! Aerospace involves the fascination of flying an airplane, launching a rocket, conquering space, and becoming an astronaut and pilot. Through fun and challenging activities, you will educate youth about flying, kites, hot air balloons, remote control airplanes, gliders and space shuttles.

Volunteers would organize and deliver educational workshops and activities. Curriculum and planned activities available. The 4-H year runs from October-September. The leader for this project would begin in October 2023. 

Have experience working with dogs that you want to share with youth? Then this is the opportunity for you! 

Looking for a volunteer to assist 4-H members ages 9-19 who are interested in learning more about dogs, how to care for a dog, and how to train a dog in basic or advanced commands. Including both obedience and agility. 

Volunteers would organize and deliver educational workshops and activities. Curriculum and planned activities available. The 4-H year runs from October-September. We would need a leader for this project starting in October 2023.
