Who We Are
Our Mission
Girls Thrive is on a mission to inspire girls to empower themselves through a variety of physical activities and educational lessons designed to promote self-confidence, self-esteem, and positive body image.
What We Do
Our Community program
In tri-weekly training sessions, girls develop physical & mental strength, confidence, endurance, as well as life skills, within a safe and positive environment. We welcome all girls currently in grades 6 - 12.
Girls should join Girls Thrive if they are interested in:
Gaining self-confidence and self-esteem.
Developing a positive body image.
Trying new things.
Making new friends.
Challenging themselves in a supportive environment.
Activities like mountain biking, running, yoga, rock climbing, and swimming.
Nutrition.
Goal-setting.
Engaging with the Helena community through volunteer opportunities.
OUR SCHOOL PROGRAM
In January 2024, GT started an Elementary School Pilot Program for 4th and 5th grade girls at three Helena Title Schools: Warren, Broadwater, and Bryant. The program has continued to be successful and will have two simultaneous programs at Bryant and Broadwater for the 25-26 School Year!
The School Program is a condensed Girls Thrive Community Program, but participants stay on site at school for physical activities, games, and pertinent educational lessons, such as: teamwork, goal setting, nutrition, relationships, boundaries, and more. Practices take place once per week for 1.5 hours. As always, scholarships and gear are provided to any girls in need. The full program for the school year costs $60 to help offset costs for snacks and staff.
